FAQs - 1st Class Kid Travel Pillow
Is the 1st Class Kid Travel Pillow approved by airlines and/or FAA?
Before the pillow was invented (2011) the idea was checked with the FAA – the response was – “You would have to ask the airline if you can use your travel pillow as a foot rest. There are no FAA regulations pertaining to this question”.
The 1st Class Kid Travel Pillow should not be used during taxi, takeoff and landing. It is designed to be used when the plane reaches its cruising altitude. Having the pillow at your feet would be similar to having a carry-on bag placed in the legroom area.
Our customers have had great success using the 1st Class Kid Travel Pillow on a wide range of airlines, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee usage if an airline decides to not allow the use of the 1st Class Kid Travel Pillow. We do not accept returns for refusal of use by an airline.
If you have any concerns, please call your airline customer service. Keep in mind, that the representative may not understand how the 1st Class Kid Travel Pillow operates with a quick deflate valve. They may assume that it will block areas or other passengers, and that is not the case! We recommend you plan your seating arrangement so generally you are only dealing with your travelling companions and not blocking in non-party passengers.
